Kimmy Clips: Walmart coupon policy

Double Couponing on Tuesdays at Walmart here in Utah County is a lot of fun, but some what competitive. I can't believe how crowded the store is at midnight. Well here are the coupon rules for doubling. I have heard a lot of sad stories of people lying and cheating the system. I hope all you clippers are being honest. It is a privilege, not a right to coupon. I would hate to see this privilege be taken from us.

•ALL 7 Utah County Walmart Locations will double coupons on Tuesday
•No price matching and doubling together - you must pick one or the other (unless a competitor is doing both)!
•Coupons will only be doubled up $1.00 MAX:

$0.25 coupon = $0.50
$0.50 coupon = $1.00
$0.75 coupon = $1.00
$1.00 coupon = $1.00 NO DOUBLE

•To double a coupon, the product being purchased must be "price matched" by deducting the face value of the coupon (up to $0.50). Then the coupon will be scanned at full value. Ie...
($0.25 coupon) $1.00 item - $0.25 = $0.75 price match - $0.25 coupon scan = $0.50

($0.50 coupon) $1.00 item - $0.50 = $0.50 price match - $0.50 coupon scan = FREE

($0.55 coupon) $1.00 item - $0.45 (because you can only get a total of $1.00 off) = $0.55 price match - $0.55 coupon = FREE

($0.75 coupon) $1.00 item - $0.25 = $0.75 price match - $0.75 coupon scan = FREE

Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):

* Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
* Free merchandise (or Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
* Store coupons
* Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
* Internet coupons
* Soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:

* Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
* Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
* Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
* Only one coupon per item is permitted.
* Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.
